Roblox API explorer

Look up users, groups, experiences, badges and items through Roblox's web APIs and Open Cloud, and read the raw answer. Every call here is read-only and about public data: nothing on Roblox can be changed from this page, and nothing private is read.

Calls go through tools.aong.dev, which sends them on to Roblox and hands back what Roblox answers. Each visitor can make 30 calls a minute (10 for Open Cloud). Common lookups are cached for 30 seconds.

The page only offers lookups, and tools.aong.dev refuses anything else: only GET requests (plus Roblox's two lookups that use POST, usernames to ids and presence), only to Roblox's own API hosts, never following redirects.

Rate limits

30 calls a minute per visitor, 10 of them to Open Cloud. Roblox has its own limits too: when it answers 429, wait a little and try again.

Paging

Lists come a page at a time. When an answer has a nextPageCursor or nextPageToken, Next page runs the same call for the next page.

Privacy

What you type is sent to Roblox to make the call and isn't stored by tools.aong.dev. Your IP address is used for a minute to count calls against the rate limit. Roblox's privacy policy applies to what reaches Roblox.
